Make Your Bed
Make Your Bed has one job: block the apps you choose until you make your bed. We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not track you across the internet.
What stays on your phone
Your profile details, sleep schedule, streak, tokens, blocked-app choices, and a reference photo of your made bed are stored on your device (including the shared App Group used with Screen Time extensions). They are used to run the app. They are not uploaded to our servers.
When you photograph your bed, the check runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple’s Vision framework and our on-device rules. Bed photos are not uploaded, shared, or used to train a model. Apple treats that as data that is not “collected” because it never leaves the device.
Screen Time
Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls. Apple runs that system on your device. We never see a live feed of everything you do on your phone. We only shield the apps you picked.
Sign in with Apple
If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may share your name and email with the app once. We store that on your phone so Profile can show who you are. We do not build a marketing list from it. That information stays on the device unless you use a website subscription feature that asks our server to look up your account (see Payments).
Payments
Subscriptions and Pillow Tokens are billed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not see your full card number. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
If you subscribe on our website with Stripe, the app may contact api.makeyourbed.now with an anonymous account identifier (and sometimes your Apple user ID or email) to see whether that web subscription is still active.
Referrals
If you use a friend's invite link, that code is stored on your phone. When you subscribe through Apple, the app may send your invite code and an anonymous account identifier to api.makeyourbed.now so your friend can receive Pillow Tokens. The app may also fetch referral counts for your code from that server.
What we do not collect
We do not collect bed photos or video. We do not collect location. We do not use your contacts. We do not fingerprint your device for ads. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs in this version of the app.
Children
Make Your Bed is built for people who can set up Screen Time on their own iPhone. It is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
You can delete your local account in Profile. That clears the data this app stored on your phone. Uninstalling the app also removes it. You can revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings.
